What the Australian label says
The Australian Product Information for Trulicity is brief and specific: single use pens and prefilled syringes should be stored at 2–8°C, refrigerated, and must not be frozen. Trulicity may be stored unrefrigerated for up to 14 days at temperatures up to 30°C, and it should be protected from light.

Why 14 days is tighter than it sounds
Trulicity is dosed once a week. Fourteen days is therefore two doses — and the allowance is cumulative across the life of that pen, not a per-trip budget that resets when you put it back in the fridge. A week away in January and a long weekend in March have between them used most of it.
That is the trap for people switching between GLP-1s. Ozempic's in-use pen gets 42 days in Australia and Mounjaro's KwikPen 30, so a habit built around either of those is roughly double what Trulicity actually permits. The number is not transferable, and nothing on the pen reminds you.
The 30°C ceiling
"Up to 30°C" applies to every moment of those 14 days, not to an average. A parked car passes it within minutes on a mild Australian day, and a bag in direct sun does the same. Travelling with Trulicity
- Hand luggage only. Holds are not temperature controlled and can freeze, and frozen dulaglutide must not be used.

- Declare medication and its cooling at screening. Both are exempt from the 100 mL liquid rule in Australia.
- Count the 14 days cumulatively, from the first time it left the fridge for good.

Spending the allowance versus not needing it
